2008 is coming to a close and it’s been a great year for us – coming
from prototypes through Techcrunch50, launch of our beta system
and LeWeb to now 15 launched providers. We’d like to thank everybody that made it possible and that we met along the way. There are lots of exciting things in the pipeline, so expect to see some of these in January, but it has been great journey already.

The number of API’s out there has grown phenomenally in 2008 already
and given the plans of many of the companies we’ve talked too looks
set to explode in 2009. Something 3scale aims to help happen.

We’d also like to thank our intrepid first providers who survived early
niggles and problems to get live. The feedback has been amazing and
suggestions are still working their way into the code. We’ve already
added some of the top request, such as multiple users per company
account and better messaging between service providers/users and
there’s more to come shortly.

Finally, when thinking about what to do over the Holiday period, don’t forget about our recently launched API and Mashup competition – a great
way to promote your services and Mashups + win some nice cash prizes!
