We’ve been working hard on the API Strategy and Practice Conference since it was announced in August and the response has been overwhelming – fantastic speakers, sponsors and delegates! We’ve now finalized the program and it’s looking amazing. It looks like the event will be SOLD OUT – so make sure you get your tickets as soon as possible online: Register.
We’re excited about every session and speaker – everybody is bringing something unique to the table and we can’t imagine a better way to dive into the world of APIs. Some of the new speakers and sessions just announced include:
A new keynote fireside chat from Stephane Dubois – Founder of Xignite: one of the truely pioneering early API companies that disrupted the markets it was in by openning data channels.
A panel on API Business Models: drilling down into what works and what doesn’t – including John Musser (Programmable Web), Joe Rago (Walgreens), Jeremy Glassenberg (Box), Augusto Marietti (Mashape) and our own Steven Willmott (3scale).
A panel on API Ecosystems: exploring the challenges companies have as they grow in order to both create value for their ecosystem and retain some of it for profit and growth.
A new keynote from Jeff Meisel at National Instruments: which looks at what they are doing with hardware APIs – going beyond software and the cloud to create real world actions. Panelists include Jeremie Miller (Singly), Ilya Sukhar (Parse) and Seth Blank (YourTrove) who all bring great perspectives.
On top of that there’ll be presentations on great APIs including Stripe.com, NPR, Netflix and many others. On top of that, many attendees already registered run their own APIs and will not doubt be sharing experiences in the interactive format.
There are just two weeks to go to the conference and it’s been a blast so far – predicting a great event!
So get signed up for a ticket and if you want even more exposure there are still some sponsor options left too (email us)!
