The portals are all hosted by 3scale (you can’t run the code elsewhere – although we have some flexibility for enterprise deployments), but you can change the DNS to have the portal appear anywhere. The DNS entry can be set at “SITE” > “DNS” within the management control panel. See here for the DNS changes you would need

With this you can make the portal appear as (for example) http://developer.yousite.com or http://www.myapisite.com. Using the tools under SITE>DESIGN you can also fully customise the look and feel of the site.
