Solaiemes at TADHackOur customer Solaiemes provides their GSMA awarded Rich Communication messaging technology via our API gateway solution at the TADHack event.

TADHack will happen on June 6 – 7 in Madrid, Spain, and it is the “only global meeting place for developers who want to learn, share, code and create using the tools and technologies available in telecommunications.” It is an all-around very well organised event and the lineup of speakers and sponsors is very impressive. BTW, we reported earlier that another customer of ours APIdaze will provide their assets via their API gateway at TADHack, too.

Solaiemes’ API gateway provides access and documentation of the various RCS (rich communications suite) features such as address book, chat, file transfer, geo location, and notification. What is specifically useful is the integrated testbed for developers which essentially emulates a mobile device directly on the gateway.

The guys from Solaiemes also created a video which will help developers getting up to speed with the RCS APIs easier. Please find this video embedded below.

In addition to these developer-facing activities, Solaiemes launched an unbeatable offer for Mobile Network Operators and telcos: Solaiemes offers their RCS Monetization Suite in a trial which will enable operators to embark on over-the-air (OTT, a la WhatsApp) services and engage with developers in a much simpler and quicker way. The RCS Monetization Suite contains the API gateway as introduced above and used for TADHack. In summary the suite subsumes:

  • RCS Network API Gateway
  • RCS Developer Portal using 3Scale as API Manager
  • RCS Store
  • RCS Ad Server
  • RCS Web/FirefoxOS client based on network API
  • 250 engineering hours for support, training, or creating API based B2C proof of concepts

The API Gateway is directly deployable within days by whatever RCS service a telco is offering as the Solaiemes suite is compatible with all RCS core vendor solutions.
